Group Think - Thought of in a New Way
May 28, 2026 - I remember learning the term 'group think' in college and appreciating how pervasive a phenomenon it was in daily life. If it's not fresh in your mind, the term refers to a psychological phenomenon whereby members of a group suppress their own and other's alternatives for consensus over critical thinking.

December 8, 2025 - Our neighbor National Avenue Christian Church is part of the Crisis Cold Weather Shelter network, and opens their building to shelter people and their pets when the temperatures drop below 32 degrees. This is a vital program for our community, and they are in need of volunteers in a variety of roles.

June 11, 2025 - The weather was beautiful, more than 100 people visited with friends old and new, and the banjo, stand up bass and guitar trio (Alan Munde, Kitty Ledbetter, and Bo Brown) made music that was just right for the occasion. We shared picnic lunches and a delicious 100th Anniversary cake.
