About UHNA
The City of Springfield, Missouri welcomed University Heights Neighborhood Association as its 21st registered neighborhood in the spring of 2019!
University Heights’ boundaries are Bennett Street/Brookside Street on the north, National Avenue on the east, Campbell Avenue on the west and Sunshine Street on the south.
The association usually meets at 5:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. See the calendar and latest news posts for meeting updates.
Help us build a stronger neighborhood by joining
The University Heights Neighborhood Association is all about celebrating and protecting everything that makes our neighborhood the unique, vibrant community it is. But we need your help.
By becoming a member, you can help:
- work with city officials directly on issues that concern us;
- create a vision for our neighborhood;
- participate in beautification and clean-up efforts;
- help make our neighborhood safer;
- get to know your neighbors better through events.
All of this for just $10 per household per year or $25 per business or nonprofit per year. Our membership year runs through June 30. Any household, business or nonprofit within the boundaries of Brookside/Bennett Street, National Avenue, Sunshine Street and Campbell Avenue is welcome.
Your dues will help pay for clean-up events, communications expenses such as newsletters and our website, neighborhood celebrations and, most important, give you a vote on issues that affect our neighborhood.
